James has specialised in preparing hundreds of Business Interruption claims, large and small and across a wide range of industries. James has always demonstrated an ability to work with a range of organisations to identify and resolve operational, financial and technical issues and problems.
James joined MSM in 2005 having had extensive international experience with a Top Four accounting firm in the areas of audit, litigation consulting and corporate finance. James enjoys a challenge and works well with colleagues and clients in achieving their bottom line and other objectives.
Whilst at Ernst & Young, James’ litigation support experience extended to a variety of professional negligence, commercial litigation and other loss of profits matters during which he spent a considerable time working directly with solicitors and barristers and some of this time was spent in court.
Before joining MSM, James specialised in the field of business interruption at Marsh (formerly McKenzie Consulting Group). During that time James managed a number of high profile litigation support and business interruption engagements. James was the expert accountant on a number of engagements and was required to sign reports and give expert evidence in a conclave of experts.
At MSM James has spent six years specialising in Business Interruption claims for all types and sizes of clients and for all types of events from cyclones and fires to floods and earthquakes.
